Two Boulder Police officers turned in their letters of resignation Tuesday following their arrest last week for their involvement in the shooting of a bull elk in Boulder's Mapleton neighborhood.Boulder Police Chief Mark Beckner's office sent out a press release earlier in the day, noting that the department's internal investigation is ongoing.“The Boulder Police Department does not tolerate this kind of behavior,” said Beckner. “Police officers and other members of this department will be held accountable for their actions and behavior, and we want the community to know how seriously we take this breach of trust.” Read More...
